First you need to check your oil level. Do not run your engine until you know for sure the oil level is okay.
The loss of power could be because of several different reasons. But if your engine shut off because the oil had all leaked out, you might have blown your engine.

Your engine has an oil pressure sensor that shuts off the engine if it loses oil pressure.(to prevent damage) The engine will turn over ,but it will not start until oil pressure is restored. Check the oil level and fill as needed. See if it will start. If it does..Locate the leak and repair it before driving. A possible starting place would be to look for a small plastic oil line which may be broken or may have gotten against the exhaust manifold and burned through.

If it turns over you would think that you have not yet cooked your motor. Usually blown motors seized due to the fact it as no luub (oil) to keep it cool and all the metals weld together. U might fine it's some thing simple like a pipe burst and this was a protection factor to save the motor if you end up loosing oil pressure for any reason. Auto?
