Derek Jeter. Is there any cooler guy in all of sports? I'd just like to hang with him just to see the life he leads, with the nightlife, the women, and see if he is as cool as he looks on the field. I think it would be amazing just to experience the whole social thing that would involve hanging around him for a week.

Scott Rolen, because I am an alcoholic. A few years ago, Scotty was on the DL when the Cardinals clinched the central. He was already Falling-Over-Drunk by the post game interviews, talking about how much he loved his teammates and such. Also, just look at him. Looks like a man with whom you could enjoy a beer with at a bar. Finally, he's also a decent chap. He made Pujols apologize for showing up Oliver Perez after Al jacked a hanging slider.

Leroy B. Stanton played with the California Angels and Seattle
Mariners. The reason is because when he was in the Army he
played on the Stuttgart Greyhounds in Germany and I was the
batboy and batting practice catcher. I met him in 1972 when he
was playing here in Cleveland and went to the Hotel Room with
him to talk and met Mickey Rivers & Morris Nettles.

J.T. Snow. Definately. He's an all around great guy and loves baseball for the game and not for the paycheck. He puts all he has into playin the game. He's definately my idol and i will always think of him as a true baseball player. Not a wanna be player who only plays for the paycheck.

i think i`ll have to go with my number one, Jason Varitek. what a guy! he seems as if he would be so nice and down to earth. i think i would get some education out of it too. Jason seems like such a great guy and i really do hope to meet him one day :]
if it wasn`t jason varitek i`d have to say gabe kapler. now whoa. this guy, like jason seems very nice and down to earth. i`d be droolin over him too ;] ..
if it were someone that has passed away i`d say ted williams. i think that`s enough said .. the greatest hitter :]

Tom Seaver, he is my pitching idol. i started playing baseball because of him and i got the courage to finally step on the mound because i wanted to be just like him the only thing i was missing was the ridiculous fastball and crazy curve .

J.T. Snow, he is my all-time baseball player. I met him and he is a great person to be with. He discusses everything about baseball and he has lots of free time now that he is retired.

Big Papi, no doubt. He has got to be the funniest, jolliest guy in the mlb, and it would be a blast to spend time with him.
