If the lens is scratched/abraded: use Meguiars Mirror Glaze #17 and #10. These are professional grade plastic polishes and will make the lens like new, and help protect it later. They also work on helmet face shields, bug deflectors - anything hard plastic. Great stuff - you'll thank me later... ☻

If it is externally fogged, then just try using auto body car wax. Apply a liquid wax to a soft, moist cloth, let it dry to a haze, then buff with a clean dry cotton cloth. Repeat if needed.
If the fogging is internally, then you might have to remove the entire light housing from your car, pull out the bulb from the rear, and clean the inside of the lens with a soft cloth at the end of a stick. Check for any holes in the lens or for a damaged weatherseal which would admit water.
If the bulb is a halogen type, then don't touch it with bare hands, else the skin oil on your fingers will destroy the bulb the next time is powered on.

Are you saying that there is moisture in the headlight? Of the plastic lens just got all cloudy?
If it is the latter there are products on the market that claim to fix this, but don't waste your money. Better to ignore it, or buy new headlights. There are a ton of ebay sellers that make a living just selling these headlights. Their prices are way cheaper than getting the headlights from a dealer.

You can try a hairdryer ( hair blower) Be careful not to make it so so hot you melt the lens. You will know fairly quickly if it is working or not. Or try parking it with the lens facing afternoon sun if it is warm enough for that. Interestingly, depending on the type of light you have sometimes just driving with the lights on works. I have used all three with success, but I have also used these ideas on another car and they didn't work. Good luck.

drill a 1/16th hole in the lower corner if it is inside. outside, try toothpaste. it is a good polisher for plastic.
