Which one of the stages produces the most ATP when glucose is completely oxidized to carbon dioxide and water?

There are 4 stages of cellular respiration.

1. Glycolysis
2. Pyruvate Oxidation
3. Krebs Cycle or Citric Acid Cycle)
4. Electron Transport Chain

The stage that produce most ATP is stage 4: Electron Transport Chain. The end product of this stage not only ATP but "WATER".

However, it is stage 3 Krebs Cycle that "CO2" is released.
