Like many substances, including alcohol, cannabis initially induces a sensation of relaxation and euphoria. Your body then produces adrenaline to compensate which in turn makes you feel a bit freaky as it counteracts the dope. Paranoia usually follows, especially if you try to fight the effects. Personality has a big effect too.

This paranoia is a side effect of smoking weed.
If you continue to smoke weed you will begin to get paranoid even when you are not smoking it.
I suggest you stop smoking now!!!1

Smoking marijuana leads to changes in your brain chemistry.
When someone first starts smoking marijuana, he gets a sense of well-being, relaxation, a willingness to speak or laugh openly, delayed reflexes and sleepiness. As someone continues to smoke the person might experience an altered sense of time, loss of short-term memory, a loss of balance, disoriented behaviour and difficulty in completing their thought process. Further use can lead to feelings of severe anxiety and panic, hallucinations, paranoia, and delusions.

Drugs affect different people in different ways. Some people mellow out on weed, some speed on it, some laugh uncontrollably and some get paranoid like you, and me. And don't think that the more you do it, it will go away it won't. That's just how that drug interacts with your body, SORRY!!

Because you got fooled into thinking that smoking weed would automatically make you more relaxed. It might happen sometimes for some people, but not everyone.

it is NOT the guilt factor, its a side effect of the drug. And yeah, probably because you dont smoke it very often, so your not immune to what it does... your friends may not get paranoid because they're used to it.

Haven't you read the reports-it makes you mentally ill. It is a known fact that people who have used cannabis/maijuana/skunk/weed are at a much greater risk of developing schizophrenia.

That's just one of the effects the cannabanoids have on your brain. Although people tend to think that Marijuana calms your body down, your heart rate actually increases as you become 'high' (up to 50% actually).

Because you're doing the stupidest thing a person could do, dealing with drugs, because YES, that **** you are smoking is a drug, an addictive drug. Every-drug addict has started from that point, smoking weed, and eventually most of them end up in the worst conditions.
SAY NO TO DRUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!
