okay. i am a high school freshman (not that it matters much) and i have known this boy ever since the beginning of the school year. we were just friends at first and then slowly we began joking and flirting with each other more and more each week. then finally, last week, we began really "talking" and he even asked me when we were going to start "going out". the **catch is that he had a girlfriend who he had been with for 4 months. the exact week we began "talking" he breaks up with her. (she has a bad reputation) and after this we start to really get "almost" serious. but then today at school, he tells me that he wants to be with both of us. this just really shocked me because he's really sweet and it doesn't seem like he'd be the person to do that. i called him earlier today and he didn't even pick up the phone...what to do.

Ditch him. You don't need to be competing with some other girl, especially one with a bad reputation, for such a jackass who can't keep his eyes or hands on one girl. Breaks up with her or not, he still wants her... and you. They'll fit together perfectly, honestly, and you're a freshman right? There'll be plenty of other guys.

he's a player.meaning he might bring bad news to you.
um..tell him to make up his mind. tell him you dont feel comfortable knowing that he still has feelings for his ex but then wants to go out with you. just be honest. and dont lose yoself.
