Yes they can be promoted. Where do you think all the managers came from? It takes as long as you let it. If you work really hard and show your supervisors you're willing to take on more responsibilities, they will take notice. There tends to be high turn over in most retail stores so promotions might come sooner then you think.

In order to get a promotion you need 2 things ...a great personality and at least an associates degree.

you may not need a degree...you may just need experience. Every person is different. It won't happen over night, but if you work hard, show potential and learn everything you can, you have a chance!
