How can I be part of the antenna when I'm not even touching it?

when you stand next to it you make some of the radio waves bounce of you and back to the antenna. similar to how satellite dishes work.

I have no idea it does the same thing to me to... just sit it next to you or something and it will get great reception.... when I am laying down in bed I just turn it on and it works like a charm... maybe me and you are just special like dat lol
