Good question. They cannot avoid it because the conservative vote is really strong. Hillary will probably use Obama to make up for her lack of religion, but both are pro abortion. It will be interesting to see what they do.

It would be nice if everyone in here would stop using a big broad brush to paint others in the same light.
Not all Democrats hate God.
Not all Republicans are good Christians.
Please stick to the issues and stop questioning the faith of others.

Hey buddy, I just got on a Liberal for doing the same thing you are doing. You are taking Gods name in vain. This is unacceptable. Be kind and understanding, there are many Christian Democrats jut as there are many Christian Republicans.

I am no fan of the liberal Democratic interpretation of the Establishment clause, but I dislike and disagree with your assessment.
I do not believe any political party has a hold on heaven, much as I do not believe any Christian sect does.
