The hole in the roof offers fans the best of both worlds. Players are still exposed to the elements as they would be at any open stadium. However, fans get to enjoy a semi climate-controlled environment that protects them from any harsh weather conditions that may arise.

There were some structural problems that kept them from completing the roof and they didn't have the money to fix

I am a Texan myself and I just think they wanted to add character to it personally. Plus why not? It looks pretty cool and they will be able to cover it when the elements come rolling in? I like a little sunlight during a good Cowboys game!! :)

they say it's so that god could watch his team, but it's really because they were too dumb to check everything through, and there were structural problems ... and they couldn't even pay for what they ordered anyways
