I have a presentation tomorrow!

The best advice I have is to practice. Watch yourself in the mirror, or even videotape yourself if you have to. The nervousness is due to uncertainty. If you practise, you will be more sure of yourself and thus that is one less thing to be uncertain of.

Taking deep breaths does help. try to look at the back of the room when talking or focusing on the teacher's face. If you are a guy I know you guys have it worse than us women. I got an A in speech and my son flunked it and when I asked him why he said because I don't want to talk in front of people!!! Well he had more fun when he had to attend night school and take speech and the school he went to was not in a good area he said the kids smoked pot in the classroom and threatened other classmates...I guess he's talking now.....

Get a good nights rest. Get a great work-out before your presentation. Eat a high protien, but low fat meal. Avoid too much caffiene. Know your material. Deliver it piece by piece. Ask if there are any questions from the audience. If you have a chance to present first, take it!

I find something to get interested in. Then, with my attention focused on the thing I selected, I get busy doing activities that are associated with it.

try not to think to much and take deep breaths ,then i just go for it. once youve got started thats the hard part. then just focus on the info at hand.

I know how you feel. I had to recite a speech and I could hardly talk.

I usually think, "If Lincoln could do it, I can at least try my best!"

FOCUS,CALM YOURSELF, TAKE A DEEP BREATH, RECALL THOSE THINGS YOU NEED, THINK OF OTHER THINGS THAN YOUR PRESENTATION...THINK THAT YOU CAN DO IT!
