What is better on a video card?

What is more preferd for a better image. GDDR3 ram with 256-bit interface and 8pipe/4vertex shaders or a GDDR2 ram with 128-bit interface and 16pipe/6vertex shaders. Both GeForce 6800 with 256mb.

I would go for the 16 pipeline card unless you can unlock the 8 pipeline card to a 12 or 16, which is sometimes possible. More pipelines, better image.
