I need to know if I have a lot of rare pennies?

Taiping's answer is great. Also, you could post all of the dates here as a question, and someone can tell you which dates could be valuable. Condition is an extremely important consideration of value, but there are certain dates that are worth researching and (most), others that are not. All you would need to do is state they are all pennies, and then list all of the dates and minmarks, and we could tell you which ones may be valuable and you should get expert opinions on.

Go to the phone book and look up coin dealers. There are a lot out there. Also check around for a coin club in your area. Do not go to an antique dealer.
