Depends a lot on how old they are, and what specific issues they are. As a general rule, anything from the 1990s or later isn't going to be worth a whole lot. Comics from the 80s, especially iconic/classic issues, have steadily risen in value. Still, they need to be in very good condition.

But just saying, "I have some X-Men, Spiderman, and Ghost Rider comics" doesn't really give us much to go on.

Remember that Spiderman and the X-Men in particular had huge print runs in the 90s. Just having a book is no big deal. There are tons of them still around.

1) Make sure of the condition.

1a) There can be no tears, no folds, no rusty staples, no yellowed or flaked pages.

2) Buy a comic book price guide, Overstreet is the most popular.

3) Check the titles and make note of the prices.

4) Find a reputable comic book store that buys comics and see what they are willing to pay for what you have.

5) Try a few comic book stores if the first one is not to your liking.

6) Finally, if all the comic book stores you've tried don't meet you expectations, try selling online.
