u should go to ur nearest electronics store like best buy or circuit city. maybe even try a highskool lab teacher. they'll prolly do it for free but fo bestbuy it's like $30 to $40 nd they take ur computer fo 3 days. when u get it back its fixed.

You might try using the Search from the Start Menu
and see if you can locate the file and then delete it manually.
If it says "this file in use and cannot be deleted" try Alt Ctrl Delete
and see if it has a program/process running with the same name
and stop the program/process then try deleting it again.

Other possibilities would be other Anti virus sites, most carry free tools for getting out single viruses that you can freely download and use like McAfee.com as well as most others.
Or another free scanning service might clean it out completely.
Be wary of sites though that are off the beaten path and only
trust a reputable known one for these type tools.

Start/ Find/ Files or Folders/
Type in pmmon.*
* is a wild card for anything with the "pmmon" in it
Substitute the * for every letter before the dot one at a time while leaving the extention (.exe) attached and continue searching for the path to the file.

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no virus or any problems. It may be a few weeks or months back. You have to decide the date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html
The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

I advise you to format your system because if virus still present in your system, your system will get affecting whenever you start it.

Just format your system, reload windows and most important get the latest version of anti-virus and anti-spyware to be secure in future..
