is it normal for there to be alot of knots in my breast before my period. some of them dont go away?

breasts can develop lumps for different reasons-drinking too much coffee can cause them (caffine) -search yahoo health- If you should have a discharge from the breasts that occurs spontainiously you should be concerned about that-I am not a Dr. but I am a mom. Are they raised (swollen)? Or just something you can feel? A woman's breasts naturally have a texture that feels like little knots. If it really concerns you, it wouldn't be a bad thing to ask your doctor about.

You might have what doctor call lumpy breast and that is normal,But if the knots do not go away you need to see your doctor right away for xrays.

You need to get that checked out right away. Waiting to long can be dangerous. It may be breast cancer it may not be. But dont be so scared to go to the doctor. Because early detection is best. Good Luck
