i started to leave colostrum with my second baby about the 1 mth mark. My doctor told me it was normal and can happen especially if you have been breastfeeding before.
I hoped that it meant that my milk would come in faster but it actually took a day or 2 longer but i don't know if that's related at all, i probably should have asked.
Remember that there is no question too small to ask your doctor and although this may be your second baby it doesn't mean you are an expert i felt like a total idiot asking questions second time round and my doctor told me that i shouldn't have felt stupid... So remember when in doubt ask your doctor.

I did. I actually leaked colostrum before I found out for sure I was pregnant, in the first month. It's just the hormones preparing you for this baby! You can ask your OB at your next check up for reassurance. He or she can also do a breast exam to make sure that is all that it is.
Congratulations Mom!

The fact that you nursed one child already is probably the best reason for experiencing colostrum leakage this time during your second pregnancy. This will continue to occur throughout the remainder of your pregnancy.

Yeah you should have enough milk for your baby. It happens but very seldom a woman doesn't have milk or enough of it for her baby. I started leaking two-three weeks ago and I'm just 24 weeks. But this is also my 2nd pregnancy, I didn't start leaking with my first till much later. But I wouldn't worry you should be fine with milk for your baby.

I started to leak a little bit around three months, maybe your dates are out a bit. I havn't heard of someone leaking that early, how annoying! Time to invest in some breastpads!

Yes,- Good question!
And some people have it even if they aren't pregnant or lactating!
But do ask your doctor - he is the only one that can really give you his professional advice having seen you.
Remember that even "over the counter meds" say don't take if pregnant and do seek medical attention if you notice anything unusual or have questions.

I had the same thing happen with one of my children. (I have 4) It's just your hormones. Your breasts are just saying "Hey, we've done this before! No problem." It should go away soon.
