got co-worker who does not bathe or wear underwear? he smells and mgt. does nothing about it. occasionally they send him home but not all the time. this offends me, but because of his diability im told not much can be done. need help. if this was me i know they would do something about it. any suggestions?

Some people don't wear underwear! Management should make it clear to him that he needs to present bathed and clean for work everyday. Maybe you could tell him its part of being a worker.

Not really any laws about this and Lord I don't WANT to know how you know he doesn't wear underwear... your only option is to request to be moved so that you are not working near him. More than likely management is sick of him too and looking for a reason to let him go.

There should be some reference in the office policy handbook. If not something should definitely be done anyway. If the Mgr wont do anything then go one person higher and let them know.

No laws against it. Managment probably tolerates it because of the disability you reference.

Is he in a real position, most companies won't hire people unqualified, handicapped or not. I would say something.
