especially considering the difference between Ahly and Internacional where the Ahly were the underdogs, didn't they play to the best of their potential and even scored a goal against a team whose league won the tournament last year? Most of all, they proved to everyone that they can compete against the top clubs.

yeah true
they played very well, but i dont believe in luck, i think the difference was that Al Ahly players are much older than internacional players, i couldnt believe that some of them are still teenagers, u know.
we couldnt expect more from Al Ahly they did what they could, and played well till the last minute, but the physical abilities of internacional players is better because of the age thing.
and yes they proved they can compete and be "compared" to international teams, so this is an honor to all of us.
lets not rush things, the coming years will be better for Al Ahly, its obvious they are improving day by day.
i'm Al Ahly fanatic, but i'm also happy with the score till now, and i cant say they they didnt play well, cause they put all the effort in the last match.
if u sum up the accomplishments of Al Ahly this year, u'll find that its more than enough, cause they made the world know about "Egyptian Al Ahly" and began to notice who the pharaohs are. also the demand on the players is increasing, many of them will sign with international clubs around the world, i would say way to go Al Ahly, u did more than well this year, and lets not forget about manuel jose, he is a genius.

al ahly made a great match today they deserve to win but the luck played its rule with international
al ahly was able to score over 4 goals if the luck was with us only for one time

i can't wait to see the match of Al Ahly's vs. Club America from Mexico!!!
although i'm hoping that Mexico wins. My fiance is Egyptian and he LOVES Al Ahly,it's his favorite team! and i'm mexican and of course i want Club America to win, but it's gonna be an interesting match.
