We're getting married next year and are trying to save some cash. We've been together for three years; he loves sports, DVDs, and he doesn't mind sentimental stuff. I instated a twenty-dollar limit on our Christmas gifts since we've spent waaaay too much on each other before and we know we love each other without expensive things. Any ideas on what to get him/make him? Thank you!!!

Red Satin Ribbons. Tie him up. Blind fold him and become very creative with your tongue. It'll be his favorite present for years to come. (no pun intended)

Here are a few ideas...
1. I don't know where you live, but at Wal-Mart they have DVDs for $5.50. There's one gift.
2. If he reads, get him a bookmark at most $2, pick up a book to go along with it, but a cheap one.... $5.99. There's 2 gifts.
3. Think of his favorite sport... got it? Go get a picture frame for a $1, then go to a craft store and pick up some stickers for a $1 of that sport and decorate the frame. Now, if it is football, for example, put on a helmet, a jersey, and just your underwear... get someone to take a picture of you and put it in the frame. There's 3 gifts and $5 left.
4. If you have a Dollar Tree, get a blue minutare stocking for a $1, and fill it with candy (get a bag of snickers or something $1) With the remainding $3, get 3 $1 tools such as a screwdriver, a wrench thingy, and a flashlight maybe. Get these things at a Dollar Tree. Give him the stocking with goodies.
Total spent $20... not including tax, which would be like $1.50
Total gifts.... 4
Just some ideas, good luck, and Merry Christmas.

Ooo! I like a lot of these ideas! A scrapbook would be really good, or a collage of your favorite pictures together. And the coupon book is a really good one too... I'm getting ideas for my fiancee now too!!!

A Timex Watch, A wine glass with his name on it, and a Bottle of Wine (Which both of you can enjoy). A Stocking filled with nonsensical stuff.

Make him a picture, or a couple, of the two of you. I know my husband really enjoyed it when i made a collage of both of our family's together. it made him feel like i accepted his family as my own and that i cared enough to show that we were now a real family ourselves.

Depends on if shes just a friend or a "friend" Get her a new CD. Basically everybody loves music of some type. Just make sure she'll like the music you pick. Don't buy her Cannibal Corpse, if she's into Maroon 5 or something.
