They have been on almost every channel, every year in December, for as long as I can remember. They are so ANNOYING. And they haven't changed the commercial since the 90s, except for the new Kitty Chia Grass.

These commercials have been around since the 70's!!!! So I have been hearing them for almost 40 years. Anyway, they make the song annoying enough so when you go shopping you see the product and hopfully buy it. It is the same with Ronco products. I remember the Pocket Fisherman in the 70's. I lived on a farm that we had a pond at and my Mom bought one for my Dad.

Like Jones Soda, they appear every year around Christmas it seems. Do they really need new commercials? You remember the originals and as long as they get stuck in your head, that's all that matters (to marketing). And they may be annoying, but nowhere near as bad as Head On roll on headache medicine.

Why I remember them? Because they're rather hokey, like going to see a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum.

I think its to remind those of us old enough to remember when they were on the air the first time around just how old we are and make us depressed with the hopes that maybe we will pick up their product in a blind fit of depressed shopping mania :) LOL
