ask the realtor who the architect was, or who the architectural company was..they can prob make u a copy of the blue prints

Well, I don't know what city/county/state you live in, but in my county I can go to the County Auditor's website and search for my property, and view the blueprints from there. Try typing in your county and state name followed by the words county auditor. This may help you out.

Ask the previous owner for them or who the builder was and ask the builder. If that fails, you could go to the clerk-of-the courts office and look at the abstract of your property to find out who the builder was and see if they still exist. Otherwise, if you live in a development, ask some of your neighbors who have the same house. Just a guess.
