Depends on the district and the hours you work (1/2-day or full day).
One district here in Texas pays $100 a day and another one pays $125.
The price for enriching the lives of students: priceless (well, no, actually it still pays the same....)

I teach in northern NY and there is a wide variety from district to district. Our school pays $85 for a certified full day sub and $75 for a non-certified sub. The district near by is $90 and $75.
In NYState we have a shortage of subs. We are constantly pulling from local residents who are not very knowledgeable about teaching practices. Most districts base their pay of subs on how much training you have in education ,or if you have a four-year degree.

I stay in Desoto County, MS. the following i'm a replace instructor. I had to bypass by orientation, have a intense college degree/ged, and rigorous history examine. It somewhat purely rely on what state you stay in! i receives a fee sixty 5/day with out a 4yr degree even with the actual incontrovertible reality that I do have some college. the following qualified instructors/those with 4yr stages dont receives a fee extra. even with the actual incontrovertible reality that they do have the purely right assignments majority of the time yet no longer something particular. I stay boarder line Memphis,TN there replace instructors are required to have a 4yr degree. also i comprehend that El Paso, Texas calls for a minimum of 40credit hours in training to initiate. wish this suggestion helps! Oh also our subbing is achieved by Kelly tutorial amenities AKA Kelly amenities.
