What is the fastest download speed (in kbs) you have got using TimeWarner?

I've achieved over a megabyte a second. These speeds are usually not achieved because of the computer you are *connecting* to. Keep in mind the other computer has to be uploading at at least a meg a sec for you to download at that speed.

With the internet being as congested as it is, hardly any sites offer that type of bandwidth to just one connection and if they did, word would get out and it wouldn't last that long.

I suggest connecting to your newsgroups.. you'll probably get the fastest downloads because you're connecting to your own server. (time warner)
