I also really hate the faces that she makes when she gets her picture taken...........what a *****

That as an American she has a right to speak freely, regardless of whether or not anyone agrees. And that of all the people who have spoken out against the president, she (and her bandmates) were dealt with most harshly.

I think that is where freedom of speech comes in. But being an artist you have to watch what you say. They ended up taking a two or three year off or at leastit felt that way. No I don't think she should say she is sorry.

Given that this country prides itself on the right to free speech, I think she's definitely not out of line with what she said. I do agree with her political beliefs and I'm definitely NOT a fan of the current administration, but I'd feel this way even if we had opposing beliefs.

I just think its funny that her bandmates are now saying how they stand by and support her when you KNOW they are super pissed at her. they went from red hot to "where are they now" a flash. they now have to downgrade the places they play at because the they can't fill the seats. they aren't known for their music anymore, its all about the politics.
yeah we all learned about the right to free speech in elementary school, that's no news flash. one thing they don't teach you in school is common sense. celebrities aren't magic and nobody with full control of their brain should care what a singer or actor has to say about politics. therefore they should keep their thoughts to themselves and sing and play pretend in movies.
natalie has forever soiled herself.I personally don't care one way or the other.

We all have the freedom to speak our beliefs. That being understood, we also must choose appropriate times and places to exercise our freedom of speech.
She did not choose the right place or time to voice personal opinions. People paid to hear her sing, not hop on a political soap box just because she had access to public broadcasting.
She can think whatever she wants. However when she chooses to act the politician, she has no right to make it sound as if all America agrees with her position.
I have no use for her or her ego trip. She will never speak for me!

Well, I think she could have been a little more tactful and classy about it, but it is America after all and we do have Freedom of Speech. We also have the freedom to ignore and disregard her remarks if we so choose.

you and i and every single last american have the right to speak our minds. i respect her rights as an american just like i respect yours for asking this question. this all happened more than 2 years ago and i think it is time to move on from this subject.

and I applaud her for having an opinion, she is THE BEST,,,,,,, and all that talk a couple years ago, really shouldn't have bothered her because, the only people who cared were followers, and that is ignorant in itself. Do I wake up everyday saying, I am so ashamed? no, I don't give a rats as*!!!!!! I might think,,,,,, How many more YEARS DO WE GOT LEFT,,,,,,UGH...................
