It's Christmas, for crying out loud! If you want to wish someone a happy Hanukkah, just say Happy hanukkah, or happy kwannza, or happy birthday or whatever. But leave christmas alone. If you don't want to celebrate it, then don't. Who cares? I'm sorry if you feel left out of the festivities or if you're holiday is at the same time. Stop ruining CHRISTmas...

Why is the only controversy about calling a holiday what it is centered around Christmas? Could it be because it has the word Christ in it and after 2000 years he still intimidates people? I for one am sick of all the political correctness; let's just call it what it is; Christmas

Christmas is December 25th. There are other holidays during this time of year (HumanLight, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, etc) too, so it is not exclusively the Christmas season.

And why can't it be both?
They've coexisted peacefully for over 150 years with no problem, now all of a sudden it's a big deal just because some Christian Conservatives have gotten uptight about it.
