Two reasons:
1) The salary cap. Most teams can't afford him.
2) He is basketball's equivalent of Terrell Owens. Great talent, monumental ego.

Good question, bunch of reasons.
1. He's got something like a $20 million dollar contract for about two years.
2. Iverson is already 31 and counting. He's getting older and passing his prime already.
3. He has shown to have bad chemistry, that's one of the reasons why he's getting traded. He and his coach, Mo Cheeks, didn't get along too well.
I don't think many teams want a player like that, unless they're desperate and want to make an championship run within the next year.

I don't see how anyone could think he is a good player. He has a lousy shooting percentage, selfish attitude, and CERTAINLY not a player to build a team around. Add the off the court baggage and it should come as no surprise that he is still with the Sixers. He is at best the kind of player that could help a team get over the hump and win a championship, but by no means is he even a star player. I don't care how hard he drives to the basket, how fashionable he is, or how many tattoo's he gets, he is not a star.

Simple. He gets paid too much, would disrupt team chemistry b/c he is cancer in the clubhouse and probably would not overshadow that with his skills. He may be a good player, but teams aren't looking for a troublemaker b/c the NBA has seen its fair share of troubles the past few years.

Poor defender.
Not that great of a shooter.
Misses practices for no reason.
Has to be the best player on the team, which is a recipe for bad team chemistry.

He wants too high of a salary for a slacker. Iverson would ruin many NBA teams with his me first, the rest of you go to hell attitude.

ya, there aren't many teams that can afford him right now... but i think its more that, the teams that have players to trade for him, are high and elite teams, and you don't want to make a trade, and disrupt that chemistry, if you're that close. also, AI is a"must give ball to" guy... and adding him could disrupt your team
o, and to the guy up there ^^. 42 percent is actually a really good field-goal percentage

The T-Wolves want him but all they have to trade is Randy Foye. That's what you get when you trade a 1st round pick and Sam Cassell for Marco Jaric.

2. hes old
3. he has a lot of injuries
you don't need big stars to have a good team. The Utah Jazz don't have any big stars and they have been dominating everybody this year.
