I can only share with you what I do. I try to self meditate when I am nervous, this calms me down. I know that if it becomes a problem in your life where it interferes then you can actually get a medication for it from your doctor. So it it does interfere then go see your doc and ask him about anxiety medications. They are very mild and not toxic or addictive.

You don't. I've yet to find a way to eliminate nervousness, but you can learn how to adapt. Accept the fact that certain situations make you nervous, then focus on what exactly makes you nervous and what steps you can take to reduce the amount of nervousness you feel.
