ok ive been on the pill for several years and this is what if found
-periods are lighter
-periods are regular and monthly (28 days)
-my breasts got a bit larger
-i gained a bit of weight
-got a couple of headaches now and then
-i didnt suffer from pre menstrual stress as much
-period cramps were no where near as painful
these vary from person to person and pill to pill but these are the general things that you get from being on the pill in terms of symptoms apart from stating the obvious that it is birth control

I'm currently taking Tri-Sprintec, too.
It's the generic version of Ortho Trycycline Lo.
So far, so good.
I'm expecting my period in 3-4 days.
Just make sure to take your pill at the same time everyday and don't forget to take it or your chances of getting pregnant are higher.
Also note that no method of birth control is 100% effective when it comes to preventing pregnancy.
The best way to ensure that you won't have an unexpected pregnancy is to remain abstinent.
Hope this helped.
Good luck!
If you experience any bad side effects, there are plenty of other brands of birth control pills on the market, so don't be scared to try a few before settling for one you don't preferably like.

I never tried that one. But, I have tried a few other pills and I am currently using an IUD. So far, I'd say it's the best. The pills always seemed to mess with my weight, moods, etc. But, as I am sure you know, everyone is different. A couple of the pills I tried even made me feel morning sickness as if I was prego and wasn't. No good! The IUD hasn't ever made me feel that way and it lasts for 5 years!! Just watch your symptoms and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns....there are lots of options, so, don't settle for one that doesn't work well for you. Good luck! :o)

If this is the first time you have ever been on birth control, expect to feel nauseated a lot. Get saltines. You can probably expect a heavy period this month, and some spotting between your periods.

I am not sure what kind of birth control that is. I've taken the shot which I wouldn't recommend because it caused me to gain like 20 pounds. I;ve taken the patch and even my new doctor says its bad, I got pregnant with my son while using the patch. I'm on the low dose pill and the only thing I hate about it is I have a bad memory. I've known people that used the ring and both of them got pregnant on them. So, to answer your questionm talk to your doctor about it or google it.

I am on birth control myself. I find it to be a breeze, I don't have cramping at all, our hunger cravings, it is kinda weird to me. But yeah, being on the pill is a great thing, it does not just protect you from unwanted pregnancies, but it limits how your mood swings change negatively during menstruation. At least for me.
