Does anyone know where in california (mainly the bay area) where i can plant my christmas tree? I bought the tree in a pot with its roots still there. It is a living tree. I would feel bad if i had to throw it away.=( Do u know any organizations that i can take it to? Please help me. Thanks a bunch *-*

Contact a local landscape company, 4H group, the Boy or Girl Scouts, a conservation organization.....

In Minnesota I have often seen "things" placed at the curb in front of a house with a sign saying "free" on it. Even junk seems to disappear that way. I can't imagine that it would take long for someone who was driving past to decide that they had just the place for a nice pine.

well if you didn't want to plant it around your house you could go to a wooded area , and pick a open space it could grow and plant it!
