I've seen previews and I have watched some clips from Youtube. wow! what a story line, has anyone else seen this or the previews?

It has been a while since I saw it. I watched it back when Lunar was fansubbing it a few years ago. I remember it being very good and well worth the watch. Akane Mainax OAV (a spinoff of the series), I remember it not being as good.
