Ok here is the question i have something in my air vents i unscrewed one were i hear the noise and put a lil can down there with Boric Acid and peanut butter mixed will this help get rid of them or will the rats or whatever it is even touch it , also will it do any harm to us when we turn the air on

It's a good rule to follow is not to kill anything inside walls or any thing that can rot and stink up your house, especially your vents. More so, I don't think a rat will come to the boric acid. Being a master rat and gofer catcher LoL, try this...tie a line on a rat trap and push it as far back as possible with just peanut butter on it and wait for the snap! then remove to dumpster. Good hunting :)

I remember my mom, longtime ago when she knew she had them, putting out rat traps with cheese on them. She would catch them.
