why r school uniforms bad??
my opinion is that their is no effect with or without uniforms.

I dont like them, kids should be able to wear what they want when they want. If Bob wants to wear shorts and a tank-top in the winter, GO AHEAD! If Jane wants to wear a ski outfit in the middle of july, GO FOR IT!

Not against, but I disagree with any which are not modest. Also, girls should have the choice to wear pants instead of a skirt. this is not for any other reason than that some families object to their daughters showing their legs in public.
Also, if the goal in some schools which have decided to make the kids wear uniforms is to decrease the amount of gang conflict, then they should not only make a dress code that is modest, cheap, and allows girls to wear pants, but also, they should enforce the dress code to the utmost. Reason is, kids will do their damnedest to find a way to show gang affiliation, if it is just something like leaving one shoe untied, or leaving their top shirt buttoned.
That's all I got.

i dnt like the school uniforms because they look boring and u always look like everyone else.. mainly the same sex. But there is a plus for school uniforms at least u dont have to worry about whatyour going to wear the next day.

I'm slightly against school unifroms... I'd oppose them because I don't think its right to tell people what to wear unless they go WAY overboard (a dresscode enforces that policy very well), but then again, Maybe Columbine wouldnt have happened if they needed to wear uniforms to get into the school...

I personally love those girl's ones with the really short pleated plaid skirt and the white sheer crop top and stockings.
MY wife looks dynamite in (and out of) hers like that.

I beg to differ with you that they have no effect. The only thing they do that I whole-heartedly support is keep the kids from dressing like hookers and gansters. If that is the least they do then I say keep them.

I know!!!!!!!!!Why do we?There's no point in wearing uniforms if there so **** starchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have to change three times a day.Keep asking more people.

yes they are because clothes show how u feel. Uniforms don't let you do that.
