I brought super mario 64 (for ds) today, and a ds lite. But the super mario looks like a cdrom, and it is saying (on amazon) that it's a cd rom after I've ordered it. I don't want to open it because then I can't return it... So is Super Mario 64 a cartridge or a cd rom?

For both the DS and the N64 it is a flash based cartridge; Not a CD-rom. Go ahead and open it, if it says NintendoDS on the package it will work with your DS Lite.

One of my all time favorite video games... I remember it well. It was on the Nintendo 64, and like all games for that console, it was a cartridge. On the ds, it's also a cartridge, though a smaller one.

Same great game, just on Nintendo Hand-held device. You can read all about it here....
