Despite engine size, there are no bargain basement versions. Even the DE is fairly well equipped, with items including air conditioning, an AM/FM/CD sound system, remote keyless entry, a rear defroster and power windows, locks and mirrors.
Attention to detail is shown by the sun visor extenders, which block out unwanted sunlight. However, no Galant has side-curtain airbags in the increasingly safety conscious family vehicle market.
The ES has cosmetic upgrades such as a mesh grille, color-keyed outside mirrors and titanium accent dashboard trim, along with optional anti-lock brakes. The LS has a specially tuned suspension to go with the V6, traction control and standard anti-lock brakes.

I never believed in Mitsubishis until I bought one. I have a 2004 Lancer Sportback (wagon) that I bought new (dealer leftover) I've used as a contractor for a courier service. In a year and a half, I've put 69,000 miles on the car and it's only been sidelined for one day due to a minor mechanical issue. Much better then my previous Ford Focus, which I put 45,000 miles on in 4 years. And I do all scheduled maintenance on my cars.

its a good car for 1 or 3 years after that i dont know about their reliability anymore especially electrical problems and transmission problems ,check the carfax of the car first before buying and check autodata for the technical service bulletins (recalls or most common problems/repairs for the car) goodluck

i own a repair shop,and yes there good cars to own,,there cheap to operate,and give good service also,,i work on a few,,but never nothing major at all,as far as them giving a lot of trouble they don't,so you,ll be making a good investment there,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.
