me and my fiance plan on having a baby and i was just wondering if there is anything that i might need to no. important things.what to eat what not to eat.......anything helpfull

Yes...obviously there is. The "no" in your question should have been spelled "know". Please quit planning on having a baby until you are a bit more educated.

Take prenatal vitamins and drink lots of water. Eat a healthy balanced diet consisting of whole grains, dairy, lean meats, fruits and vegetables. It's okay to give in to the occasional ice cream craving, but don't overdo it. Remember that junk food and other processed stuff has lots of chemicals added into it. They aren't good for you and they certainly won't benefit the baby. Also, fresh air and exercise is important. Make sure you take a long walk at least once a day. That's about it! Good luck!

buy the book What to Expect When You're Expecting. It has been like my bible. It has a chapter about eating right during pregnancy. the chapters are broken up into months of pregnancy with common questions and very reassuring answers. there is also a book from the same author about eating well during pregnancy with recipies.

The most important thing is to seek regular prenatal visits. Your doctor can give you a bunch of information. You can also check out a local library or bookstore for up to date information and advice.

Make sure you take your prenatal vitamins everyday. Drink lots of water. Rest as much as possible.

Anything helpful? I say you should get married first so the child will have health insurance. But, you can eat anything you want, it something doesn't agree with you,you stop eating it. Don't smoke,do drugs or drink alchol. You will be fine.

food may become your enemy. from the constant need to eat every 2-3 hours...along with the night feedings. and i'm not talking about the babys need to eat.

They say the most important thing to have in your system BEFORE you get preg is folic acid.

i pigged out on everything & it was hard to loose the weight after i had the baby so don*t over do it ! good luck & congrats !

HOW MUCH A BABY COST FOR THE DR AND HOSPITAL, FOOD, CLOTHES, FURNITURE, EDUCATION. WHY HAVE A BABY AND NOT BE MARRIED. GUESS I JUST DON'T GET IT.
