My husband prefers to look at internet porn and masturbate than to have sex with me. I'm miserable. I receive no affection or support and I have talked with him. We are just roommates but he also gets a maid....me! We have one daughter who is 10. What do I do? Please don't tell me porn is just a hobby. It bothers me tremendously, he knows how it makes me feel and I'm tired of it.

try shaving your "little girl" go bald...get a porn stars body and he will want your more...what are they doing that you aren't? do you please him orally? let him "go" in your mouth, face, breasts?? figure out what is getting him off and then do it...you are obviously not doing something right!

Seek marriage counseling. And Pray (if you're religious) That is a very important step. But also, try to spice things up a little bit. Go on vacation with your husband (away from the computers) and make it your goal to seduce him. Wear sexier clothes, or things that you know he likes. Put on make-up, get your hair done, or maybe even get a make-over. Go out and buy some music and candles to set the mood. Throw that computer out!!! And once you've tried everything you possibly can, if nothing works then rethink the relationship.

Shana you and your husband need the intervention of a licensed marriage counselor. Your husband, needs professional assistance because he has become addicted to porno it's fantasies and releases his sexual tension not with you but thru masturbating. He may be doing other things that you do not know about. Porno and masturbation have replaced real sex for him and it is ruining your marriage. Now, what are YOU going to do about it? No, porno is NOT just a hobby. There millions of people addicted to it and have lost their marriages because of it.
Now, what made your husband turn to porno in the first place? How was your marriage and communication? Whatever the answer Yahoo is not the place, you MUST get professional assistance ASAP or your marriage WILL be over.

What makes you think the problem is with your husband. It could be you who is having the problem.
My advice is to search for the main problem and work on it to resolve. I am not saying that he is not the cause but search deeply in your heart whether did you contibute to the problem.
Both of you need to talk seriously and come to a an understanding and work from there.
Many men lost interest in real sex if the wife is not being patient and expect too much in a short space of time. SEX is for both.

He doesn't really prefer porn - he is using it as an escape mechanism because he is unfulfilled in life. If you have put on weight, started nagging him or kept his castle a pigsty he wants to hide from reality. If none of those things have happened then you need a little heart starter to get him interested in you again...namely you need a holiday to focus on each other... at least a week.

It's not you. Don't blame yourself, or let his inattention ruin your self esteem.
If your man isn't interested it's usually related to something else - not you. Work is too much pressure, Unhappiness socially, not being able to please you - money wise, support wise.
If he won't discuss it, or isn't willing to try to work out a compromise that makes you happy, you should consider leaving.
One happy parent is better than two dis functional ones.

Ask him what he wants from you for methods he wants to have sex.You can please him the way he wants if it's not exagerated.Try to make a romantic ambiance.
If it's very bad then bring him to a sex-therapist.
This is a very bad situation..but do all your best..
