Now if any of you have scored 1000 points would your trade that in for a state championship win?

Or if you didnt score 1000 pts but lets say you did would you trade that in for a State Championship win

What do you think would get you noticed by more/better colleges: Scoring 1000 pts in your highschool career or winning a State Championship?

I would have to say the State Title. When you get down to it, that is the reason you play sports and put in all the work. You play to be the best. You play to win. What would you remember, the fact you scored 1,000 points or you helped your team be the best in the state?

No doubt if I scored 1000 pts I would trade that any day of the week for a state championship. Nothing would compare to the feeling of winning a state title. I think winning State gets you recognized more because you could play for a shitty team that doesnt win a game and score 1000 points and no scouts would be there to watch, where as in the state tourneys are when the scouts are really out watching guys play.

I would trade 1000 points for a state championship because that show the state who's the better team.

1000 pts would get you noticed by colleges but a state championship will get you notice more.

personally, i think the most important stat is the not the number of points but number of titles. however, colleges would look more to a star who scores 1000 on a losing team because they are looking for individual talent, not championships. who would you rather have? a guy who averages 35 ppg and doesnt win or some role player who plays 1 minute a game but has a title?

I personally am in my senior year and am on pace to score my 1000 career point in another 7 or 8 games? But I would much rather have that state title. Any day. We came so close to it last year that we could taste it, my teammates and I are working hard to get back to where we want to be. To get that state title. Yes, I think colleges notice points more, but the good coaches see the good players. Everytime. But yes, in my opinion, the State title is what you shoot for.

Depends on the State which you won the champs. In Kentucky, and Indiana, winning the State Champs is making your mark because it's big in those states, while if you live in Mississippi, say, 1000 points is bigger because the teams aren't as good.

Also, it matters how many points you contributed in the State Champs game. Suppose you got a double-double, you'd be noticed a lot, but it you only got 2 pts. you didn't contribute enough.

personally i think winnin the championship is better because its showing that you have good teamwork cuz u helped get ur team there. with scoring 1000 points colleges are probably think that u think ur better than everyone else, ur not a team player, ur a ball hog or all of the above. it feels good to win a championship especially if ur helping to win

The points draw scouts and get u in a better college.
but i would take the ST. championship if im close to 1000 points.
but a St. championship doesnt matter to the scouts if u dnt have the stats to back it up.
(points,assists,rebounds,blocks,)
