1. No. There will always be those who take acception to any positive form of progress, because it will undermine their personal agendas.

2. What will happen, as it always has, is history will repeat it's mistakes.

3. Humans will push the limits of survival, and then mother nature and the universe will press the 'Reset' button.

4. We, if as a species we shall survive, will be back at the beginning. Archeologists will, in millions of years find evidence of our existence, but wrongly interpret what we were, accordiing to their current times.

5. Governments keep order in societies, but they also deliberately block any progress that will interfere with the monetary donations of lobbyists.
