Take a heating pad and apply it to your womb area. If you do not have one, take a towel and heat it over the stove or near a heater. Do not put the towel in the flame. Drink some hot tea, it soothes the stomach. Do you have a cat? Make it lay on your stomach for warmth.....

Aside from all that mentioned here (heat seems to work best if you don't want to use drugs) here is something crazy a roommate once told me, but it seems to really help...
Lay on your back with your legs up in the air - like sitting against a wall, but with your legs up, not your head. I guess it gets the blood flowing to the area? I don't know. It helps, though.
Best thing I ever did (I used to have such pain I threw up) was start on birth control. Evens everything out.
Ech - feel better. (ever noticed that this is awful and guy thinks a headache is debilitating and have to take a day off while we suffer with this junk once a month for three or four day minimum and still go to work and school... wimps! :))

Take 2 calcium-magnesium-zinc pills with each meal on cramping days, and one tablet 1-2x daily on non cramping days. Also take vitamin 4 400 iu daily and twice a day on cramp days.
Good luck!
