My mother and her friends in neighboring cubicles shoot rubber bands up at the ceiling to see who's desk they'll land on. Always good for a laugh when someone not included gets one by mistake.

cubicle jobs can be very boring but to make it more exciting when you arent glued to your computer or typewriter family pictures and pets on the walls. butttt the christmas season will make it more fun because you can hang christmas lighs and garland around! trust me you'll be the talk of the office and your mood will be tons lighter

Good question. Decorate! Even when it's not a holiday, put up things that have special meaning to you...pictures, posters, souvenirs...whatever you can thumb tack. Bring in headphones to listen to music and bring in a book or two to read during your breaks.
Also, make sure you get up occasionally and walk around for maybe 15 minutes...something to break up the monotony.

If you already don't have one and your allowed to have one get a radio. Play your favorite music on it. Listen to your favorite radio station. They sell great affordable all in one music radios at Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sears, JCPenney and Macy's. LIstening to music or radio talk shows makes the time go by quicker. It's also a good way to phase out all the cheesy co-workers you can't stand.

Throw action figures over the wall and try and get the loudest yell. Thats what i do and i've actually gotten a promotion. Its really entertaining.
