The original was called Peter Pan and starred Mary Martin as Peter. The remake a few years ago was called Hook and starred Robin Williams as Peter and Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook.

you're either talking about "Hook" from the early '90s where Robin Williams played a grown-up version of Peter Pan, or you're talking about the fairly recent "Finding Neverland" which Johnny Depp plays the author of Peter Pan.

which one?? there is more than one. it's either called Peter Pan, or it could be the Robin Williams one called Hook, or it could be the Johnny Depp one that just came out, Finding Neverland, I think. and that's not really about Peter Pan; it's about the author of the story of Peter Pan. also there are cartoon versions (like Disney) and non-cartoon versions.
