I think John McCain is next in line. I think McCain has served this country and has a good grasp of foreign relations and the military, which the present administration despite their understanding of the problems in the world has not used the military competently.
McCain is more of a social liberal and not so elitist as the Republicans seem to be now. McCain will be a good choice to continue the good policies of the Republicans while at the same time not locking out those Democrats and making Washington
so partisan.
Personally I would like to see Ralph Nader as president, but
I would be happy to settle for him just getting into the presidential
debates to frame the issues to the American people and keep
other candidates on their toes.

The person who gets the most votes in the correct states.
It should be Hillary Clinton but it won't be because she isn't a rich white male.
If he runs - and he's starting to sound like a candidate again - it will be Al Gore and his running-mate Barack Obama. Really when all is said and done - Gore is the best possible Democratic candidate.

I don't know, but I'll tell you what, I am about as hard core democrat as you can get, I mean, I have never voted republican, but if the democrat canidate ends up being Hillary Clinton or that Obama guy, I'm gonna have to make an acception to that rule. I don't vote for minoritys.
