Pearl Jam - Black

"I know someday you'll have a beautiful life
I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky
But why, why, why can't it be, can't it be in mine?"

A lyrical masterpiece. There is so much emotion to this song and it shows in the way Eddie Vedder delivers the words. It's a tragic tale of love gone bad. A very moving song.

The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery and Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carrol. Must have something to do with Michael being a middle name.

Mostly everything by Elliott Smith. But I wouldn't stop listening to him because of it, no matter the mood I am. He was an amazing songwriter.
