I am trying to get pregnant, my last shot was Apr 06 . I am interested in success stories (getting pregnant) after stopping depo. How long did it take and did you use and fertility boosters along the way? Thank you

I have a friend that took depo when she was a teen. She got married and started having kids about 5 years later. She now has 3!

It took me 12 months after stopping the depo to get pregnant again. It can take up to 18 months from what the doctor had told me. I used no fertility drugs, I just ate healthy and didn't drink.

I was on the depo shot for three years straight and never once did i bleed in those 3 years. I decided i was wanting to get pregnant so i stopped the shot and my period came that next month and i was pregnant a year later (really 11 months).
I did not use anything in becoming pregnant just my husband (lol)

A few months after my first baby i had the depo shot. After about 6 months my husband and i started trying again for another baby. It took us 8 months to get pregnant actively trying. The shot affects everyone differently. i would reccomend not getting it again. it messed me up emotionally and made my bady all out of wack. Stick to basic pill birth control or condems.

i became on the dep. shot for 6 yrs and performance had no longer some thing yet hassle for the reason that. My sessions aren't to any extent further regularly taking place and that i under no circumstances had that concern before the shot. I actually were off the shot for 14 months and performance no longer had a era. My fiance and that i want yet another newborn yet have had no success. i'm hoping your success is more desirable ideal than mine and that i'd not propose everybody to take the dep. shot!

Well I'm not sure how long it took because I got pregnant while taking the shot...but when your period starts to be "normal" monthly periods is when you can start calculating for the ovulation date and what not.

Good luck.
