The Wii is obviously much cheaper, and it does have good graphics, not as high quality as the ps3, but they are good. The wii is also a lot of fun, depending on how old you are or the person you are getting it for. The wii is for people that want games from "back in the day" they have games like mario and such that are fun but not as advanced. Also, its very interactive so it's fun to play with. The PS3 has the blu-ray disc player though, although a hefty price tag. There aren't that many PS3's available right now whereas there is a larger source of wii's available. The PS3 does play blu-ray discs whereas the wii doesn't play dvd's or movies so if that's what you're looking for go with the wii. If you're looking for more intense games and more next gen gaming go with the PS3. If you're into just having a good time and playing around with some interesting, not too extremely challenging games go with the wii. Hope this helped

The Wii gives you more for your money, and the game are a blast! The PS3 is just too expensive to justify it's worth right now. Wait for Sony to drop the price to a more reasonable amount down the road, and you'll find quite a few more great games on the market for it when you do.

the wii is cheaper, and much easier to get into, its graphics arnt stuning liek the ps3 and 360 tho, if you r into more casual games and just want pure fun and for a decent price then the wii is perfect, if your a graphics junky with fun second and have the money then a ps3 or 360 is the way to go

ps3: strongest and best video game console in the world, expensive, motion sensitive controller, great games
wii: cheap and affordable, motion sensitive remote controller, backwards compatible, small and compact, better graphics than ps2 or xbox
tough decision....but i suggest getting the wii since it's cheaper

i'm with dr, sponge. but the wii will have more intense games later . because they take longer to develope. so i'm with the wii
