PSP, If you get a PS3 in sometime in the future you will be able to have capability between the two so it won't be like you will never play it again when you get the new system. The PSP also has equal to somewhat lesser graphics to the PS2 but what can you expect for a portable system.

PSP you could take with you an flow everywhere plus there is much extra capabilites. PS2 has 1000's of inexpensive video games yet you're constrained to someplace with a television. Ps2, but if i was buying something now, i'd rather buy a psp because, the graphics are somewhat the same and i could do more stuff with psp like upload music, and play games like gta:liberty city stories, but not hardcore gaming like gta san andreas and hitman etc...
