Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking of! It was the first movie with sound!

The answer to your question could be one of three movies, depending upon what you mean by "sound". According to the online version of the Encyclopedia Britannica, the Jazz Singer (1927), was the first feature film to have sychronized speech, music, and sound effects. However, in 1926 the movie Don Juan "had synchronized music and effects but no speech". Because the Jazz SInger had only some speech, the first full fledged talkie is considered to be The Lights of New York (1928).
