Girl you speak the truth. I would LOVE to go somewhere else and just relax and live life. Not live to get money. I would want to lay in the shade under a tree by a lake on a different planet sleeping all day and not worring about anything. Life he on Earth is not what life could be. I totally agree. Good luck.

Wow, I feel the same way. I don't want to find hot guys but I don't mind hot girls! I do have to say that one of the main reasons I would want to leave this Earth for another living planet is because we have so many dumb humans here. I swear, every day I hear about some people doing really stupid things, making stupid decisions, and will stay ignorant. There is too much corruption, and the world is run on money, no matter what you think. The popular music is the one that has the simplest beat with the dumbest words that only primate humans can listen to. We pay extra money to buy clothes that advertise some company. We kill ourselves because we cannot solve a math problem. What kind of world is this? Power, money, and fame is the dominant force and influence on Earth. I am sad to say I live here. Perhaps you and I should go somewhere far off, where the people are loving, and the morals are good.

Although I'm not sure the primary goal of interspace colonization should be to to meet aliens who are hot, I believe that many have dreamed of leaving earth for a plethora of reasons. One of the most common themes of Scifi was exploration/colonization of space. Robert Heinlen, Peter F Hamilton, and John Varley are just a few of these great writers who dreamed of a human race no longer bound to the planet earth.
I believe that the greatest benefits to space exploration/ colonization would be technological advancements, not to mention an incredible experience for those cut out to make what would surely be a strenous experience. Remember, life on another planet is probable to be increasingly difficult, not less. Also, I would speculate that relationships with beings who maintain a different culture, society, and physiology would also probably be more difficult to maintain relationships with, not less.
However, if we do manage to expand beyond our own solar system, and colonize other planets, then I wish you the best of luck on the hot alien guy dream.

I dream of living on Mars, and vacationing in the Appenine mountains of the Moon. Titan would be fun to visit also. But you sound depressed, as opposed to wander-lusty. Life is a struggle, unfortunately. Find a good guy and travel through life together, supporting each other. That is the best way.

I dream of visiting other worlds myself. I wonder what it would be like to look at a different sun in a different sky, to stand in stronger or weaker gravity, to experience longer or shorter days, to smell different air (provided it is breathabe and not harmful of course!!). So many variables.

I do not want to leave Earth. I find other worlds fascinating, but I do not want to go to them.
