Yeah I always feel like that when someone is blue. I don't usually hug random people though, but I do talk to them and try to put a big smile on there face. I'm all about making people happy:)

Sure but they would probably just call the cops. It's a shame we now life with such politically correctness you can't do things like that. They even taught us how to deflect a hug from a child when I was substitute teaching. Can you imagine not letting a kid hug you??? We have just gone way too far with this.

yeah all the time. when i see older people out eating by themselves i get really sad and want to go talk to them (they always have so much wisdom) but they probably like being alone.
I was crying on the way to work the other day, if a stranger came up and hugged me i would have freaked out...... if a stranger asked me what was wrong... i'd be angry because i wouldn't genuinely think they care. so thats why i dont hug strangers

Not really, but probably the worst I ever felt for a total stranger was one evening, I was stranded in an airport with bad weather, and another woman was on the same would-be flight. Her father was dying, she had gotten nowhere in 14 hours, and could have easily driven home in less time. Just before we finally boarded, she got a phone call that she didn't make it in time. My delayed business trip didn't seem too important after that.

I do when I see someone having such a bad day,or really sad...I just want to hug them and tell them it will get better.I try to talk to people I pass in lines or elevators because it makes me feel better to be nice to others for no reason at all!

absolutely. i have hugged them when i did not know them. in fact i recently made 2 different new friends (at different times) that way, when i was shopping. one of the people spotted me again when i was leaving, ran up 2 me and said, "I need one more hug please b4 u go u made my day!" but the truth was they had made my day.
It never hurts to smile at someone and lend a helping hand/or hug ...
u never know what it may bring to ur life in return. :)

I've felt like that before i was staring at a little girl that was crying and just wanted to hug her but never did i wonder what became of her?

Yes I have because I hate to see people hurting. I don't think I've hugged anyone that I didn't know personally, but I have put my arm around them.

That is called compassion and yes, I have done that. We need a lot more of compassion and human kindness toward each other. Who knows it might even change that persons life, just to know that someone cared enough to show compassion toward them.
